The Association of American Educators & the Utah Association of Public Charter Schools Partner to Serve Teachers
Alexandria, VA – The Association of American Educators (AAE) and the Utah Association of Public Charter Schools (UAPCS) are pleased to continue their partnership in support of Utah's charter school teachers. AAE, the premier national, non-union teacher association, will offer teachers and other employees of member schools of UAPCS membership in AAE for a great low price – only $198 per year. This is a great opportunity for charter school teachers who are looking for membership in a pro-charter teacher organization.
"We are thrilled to continue our partnership with UAPCS to provide professional membership and benefits to the Utah's dedicated charter school educators," said AAE Executive Director Gary Beckner. "This partnership will enable both organizations to better support professional charter school teachers."
As the leader of a growing professional educator network, AAE believes that the charter school movement is an important component in creating a first-class public school system.
"Whether a teacher works in a traditional, charter, virtual or private school, they need the peace-of-mind of solid protection so that they can focus on educating children," said Beckner. "As an advocate for educators, we firmly believe that no educator should be without professional liability insurance."
AAE's partnership with UAPCS is just is just another way AAE works to serve teachers. Offering unmatched professional benefits at a fraction of the cost, AAE's services and vision for educators continues to resonate with the charter community nationwide.
UAPCS President Royce Van Tassell praises the partnership adding, "our alignment with AAE continues to allow us to expand our offerings as an association. We are pleased to build on our network of resources for Utah's charter schools with this program that offers quality professional benefits to our individual educators."
The Association of American Educators is the largest national, non-union, professional educators' association, offering an alternative to the partisan politics and non-educational agendas of the teacher labor unions. AAE does not endorse, support or contribute to any political cause or candidacy. Serving members in all fifty states, AAE provides member benefits including a $2 million individual liability insurance policy, legal protection, and professional development. AAE welcomes professionals from all education entities.
